Monitec (monitoring of environmental conditions) is intended for periodic monitoring of actual performance in controlled environment chambers per the procedure laid down in standard NF X 15-140.

Monitec has been jointly developed by VIRBAC laboratories and the IMPLEX company.


We take customer specifications and adapt our know-how to fulfil their requirements with Monitec, a solution tailored to individual customers’ needs. By monitoring tests in real time, this custom solution provides periodic characterization of the specific environment in your controlled environment or thermostatic chambers.

MONITEC acquires temperature and relative humidity measurements at scattered locations inside the enclosure, as recommended by the standard.

MONITEC communicates with SPLIT4, our application for quality management of the metrological maintenance of your measuring tools. This interface has numerous features:
  • importation of specifications for the tools used during the test
  • automation of steady state measurements
  • display of temperature and humidity change trace-outs
  • exportation of test results to the measuring equipment history sheet
  • archiving of tests
  • allowing measurement readings to be put to use
  • verification of chamber conformity
  • print-out of test reports taking account of all influential values
